One-on-one therapy is a safe space where we work together to navigate relationship issues and foster your personal growth. Whether you're struggling with communication, inner conflict, trust, or past traumas impacting your connections, individual therapy provides an opportunity for self-exploration and healing. By addressing your own emotional needs and patterns, you can cultivate greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence in navigating life and your relationships. Together, we'll work towards building healthier, more fulfilling connections in all areas of your life.

Couples Therapy

Relationships give our lives meaning while also being catalysts for personal growth and healing. And, it seems that when our relationships aren’t working, our lives aren’t working. Specializing in couples therapy, I work with partners to improve communication, deepen emotional connection, develop practical relational tools and find common ground. Whether you're struggling with conflict, feel disconnected, or simply want to strengthen your bond, therapy can help you build a healthier, more connected relationship.

"The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives."                                                                             -  Esther Perel

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy offers a safe and supportive environment to explore and address sexual concerns, enhance intimacy and pleasure, and cultivate healthier relationships. Through open communication, education, and personalized treatment planning, sex therapy aims to empower clients to overcome challenges such as desire differences, erectile difficulties, low libido, communication barriers, sex pain and past traumas. Whether you're seeking to reignite passion, increase sexual satisfaction or resolve sexual impasses, sex therapy provides a confidential space for growth, understanding, and fulfillment in your intimate life.

Consensual Non-Monogamy

I provide a safe and nonjudgmental setting to assist folks in exploring and navigating the complexities of alternative relationship structures including facilitating conversations about whether to open a relationship or not. I assist couples in clarifying what they are wanting, exploring concerns and conflicts, listening to each other and building trust and nurturing authentic connections. I educate couples about consensual agreements, support them in establishing healthy boundaries and empower them to cultivate tools to manage emotions. Whether you’re considering polyamory, open relationships or swinging, I provide a confidential space for open conversation, exploration, and growth in your relationship journey.

  • Therapy Is An Investment:

    For you…

Therapy may be one of the most important investments you will make in yourself and your relationship, and it’s intended to create meaningful change in a time-limited and highly personalized fashion. If you are seeking change, reach out and let’s talk. I just might be the person to help.

    And, for me…

Being a skilled and effective therapist requires continuous training and participation in supervision and consult groups. I’ve investing in years of advanced post-graduate training, and continue to be a life long student. I value excellence, love learning and growing and it’s important to me that I support clients in achieving the outcomes they are seeking. This requires me to invest in on-going training.

The vast majority of clients who work with me come from referrals from previous clients and from my colleagues. Being referred is the highest compliment I am given, and I cherish the trust people place in my work.

Please reach out for my current fee.

    Out of Network Provider

I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans. I provide clients with a billing document, called a super bill, if they wish to request reimbursement from their insurance carrier. I do not file insurance claims for clients. If clients are seeking reimbursement from an insurance carrier, I recommend they understand their plan’s out-of-network benefits and deductibles. I am unable to provide guidance about what an insurance company may or may not reimburse, as each insurance plan varies.

I do accept most Health Savings Account (HSA) plan cards.

Clients can use Reimbursify to conveniently process out-of-network claims.

  • Each therapeutic relationship varies based on clients’ goals, unique life factors and presenting symptoms and circumstances. Frequency and duration of therapy are factors discussed at the beginning of our work together. We will also check-in intermittently to determine progress and appropriate plans for terminating our work together. Typically clients meet one time weekly for a 50 minute session. At times, couples sessions are longer. There are also times, when it is clinically appropriate, sessions are more frequently and other times where sessions are more spread out and we may meet every other week or less frequently as we move towards termination.

  • I set up a phone or video call with each individual, couple, polycule or family that inquires about working with me. This allows me to assess potential clients’ needs and to ensure we are a good fit to work together. This also gives potential clients the opportunity to ask any questions they have about counseling and how we can best work together. The relationship between therapist and client is sacred and choosing your therapist is an important decision. I want to ensure that I can meet your needs. If not, I’m happy to refer you to others who may.

  • I require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to provide adequate notice necessitates payment in full for session. This policy is not designed to be punitive. It simply allows me to manage my practice schedule effectively, and to hold a therapeutic container where clients know what to expect from our relationship. I hold time for you in my schedule and ask that you prioritize our work together in order to get the best clinical outcomes.

  • Yes, but my availability for new clients is limited. I do my best to get clients in as soon as possible. Often I can get clients in who have scheduling flexibility, and work to find clients a regular on-going appointment time. Please reach out to talk about your scheduling needs. If I don’t have availability presently, I am happy to place you on my waiting list and reach out as soon as I have an opening.

  • I schedule sessions during these hours:

    Tuesdays: 7 am - 6 pm

    Wednesdays: 7 am - 6 pm

    Fridays: 7 am - 5 pm

Saturdays: 7 am - 2 pm (typically two Saturdays per month)

I am in Southern Oregon typically two to three times a year and welcome seeing my Oregon clients in person in my office in Medford. Otherwise, we meet via video-therapy.

  • Yes. I use an electronic health system called Simple Practice. All documents are electronic and accessed through a secure internet portal. Upon agreeing to work together and determining your first appointment, I will send you an email with access to intake forms and questionnaires and ask that you complete them before our initial session. I will need each client’s name, email and cell number to build their record in my software.
